Pete R. Delaurante

Mr. Delaurante was born and raised in Rock Springs, Wyoming. After earning his Associate of Science in Business Administration from Western Wyoming Community College, where he was recognized on the Dean’s List multiple semesters, he went on to complete his Bachelor of Science in Accounting at the University of Wyoming in 2021. His academic accomplishments reflect his commitment to hard work and precision, traits that have carried into his professional career.

Pete’s career began in 2021 with an internship at State Bank, where he analyzed financial statements and tax returns to evaluate creditworthiness, supported loan processes, and reviewed general ledger accuracy. The experience sparked his interest in the financial industry and laid the groundwork for his professional development. He then joined Hall, Noble, & Druce, P.C. in Rock Springs, where he gained hands-on experience preparing tax returns for individuals, corporations, and other entities while also developing expertise in payroll administration, account reconciliation, and financial documentation.

In late 2022, Pete accepted a position with WE Soda Alkali in Green River, Wyoming, where he served as an Accountant. In this role, he executed timely general ledger reconciliations, managed payroll operations, and coordinated with auditors during the annual audit process. His attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and strong organizational skills have been consistently recognized by peers and management alike.

Now transitioning back into banking, Pete brings a combination of accounting expertise, financial analysis, and client-focused service to his role. He believes that banking is about more than transactions, it is about trust, relationships, and supporting both individuals and businesses in achieving their financial goals. He feels that his lifelong ties with Sweetwater County will help him better understand the community and be able to help with the needs of the individuals.
