Jon Dolezal

President

Jon Dolezal is a seasoned banking executive with over 20 years of experience in the financial industry, primarily in Southwest Wyoming. Born and raised in Mountain View, Wyoming, Jon cultivated a passion for finance that led him to earn a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Wyoming, where he laid the foundation for his successful career. In 2001, Jon began his banking career at First National Bank of Wyoming in Laramie, initially serving as a credit analyst. There, he gained experience in underwriting, portfolio management, and community relations, earning the admiration and respect of both peers and superiors. Recognizing his potential, he was offered a position as a loan officer in 2004 at First National Bank-West in Evanston.

At First National Bank-West, Jon's dedication and strategic acumen shone brightly. Over the course of four years, he organically grew his individual loan portfolio to an impressive $65 million. Simultaneously, his involvement in management and strategic planning underscored his potential for leadership. When the bank subsequently merged with Glacier Bancorp, Jon's hard work and dedication to his customers earned him the role of Chief Credit Officer, where he oversaw loan compliance, served on the executive loan committee, and played a key role in the diligence of multiple bank acquisitions.

In 2008, Mr. Dolezal joined Uinta Bank, a small community bank in his hometown of Mountain View, as their Chief Credit Officer. Under Jon's stewardship, the bank experienced remarkable growth, opening two new branches, expanding assets to over $250MM, and increasing its loan portfolio from $3.5MM in 2008 to $85MM at the time of his departure. This performance is reflective of the deep understanding of his customer base, effectively measured approach to risk, and steadfast compliance with state and federal regulations that Jon has demonstrated throughout his career.

Mr. Dolezal credits his results to being actively involved in the Evanston community. During his time in Evanston, he has volunteered for multiple non-profit causes and regularly donates his time and resources to various causes in Uinta County, including the Evanston Renewal Board. He is currently on the Youth Athletic Board with Evanston Parks and Recreation, and he has coached many youth sports through the years. His involvement in the Evanston community gained recognition at the state level, where he was appointed by the Governor as a Commissioner of the Wyoming Transportation Commission, where he currently serves as Vice Chairman.

Mr. Dolezal's experience, community-oriented mindset, and exceptional leadership reflect a seasoned banking professional capable of navigating the ever-changing financial landscape and driving sustainable growth for any financial institution. His conservative underwriting practices and slow organic growth strategies have been instrumental in the success of both First Bank and Uinta Bank, where he held executive management roles for over 16 years. Undoubtedly, Jon will apply these same skills, strategies, and temperament to his tenure as President of State Bank, driving its growth and fortifying its standing in the Wyoming banking sector.
